RYD SU1812H40TR is a waterproof Ø18x12mm ultrasonic transceiver operating at 40kHz in dual use with a wide acoustic field. Its 100° directivity gives broad coverage from a single mounting position, which reduces the element count where a wide detection zone is needed, while sound pressure of at least 100dB and sensitivity of at least -70dB support detection over 0.2 to 4 meters with response time of 1.2ms or less. The aluminum housing is sealed against water and operates from -30℃ to +85℃, fitting exposed automotive, outdoor and appliance installations. Customization available: cable length and connector, waterproof grade, housing finish and acoustic tuning can be adjusted per your installation; new designs can be developed for volume projects. Target scenarios: automotive electronics, smart home devices and industrial equipment.
