RYD DPU1840AIH12B-3 is a waterproof Ø18x12mm ultrasonic transceiver operating at 40kHz in dual use, tuned for fast response. Ring time of 1.2ms or less lets the element stop ringing quickly after transmission, shortening the dead zone and supporting detection over its 0.3 to 2 meter range, while sound pressure of at least 106dB and sensitivity of at least -74dB with 80° directivity keep the echo link solid in open and wet conditions. The black aluminum housing is sealed against water and operates from -30℃ to +85℃, and the element accepts up to 120Vp-p input, fitting vehicle-mounted and outdoor detection systems. Customization available: cable length and connector, waterproof grade, housing finish and acoustic tuning can be adjusted per your installation; new designs can be developed for volume projects. Target scenarios: automotive electronics, industrial equipment and smart home devices.
